Your recommendations/opinion are there better fixes that don’t require a subscription, all your privacy…I don’t have much money.Lost silverlight, re-installed through Netflix but it did not fix assoc Win files had with each other (ie W. Live, Win. Media Center others that coordinated info from a doc file to sending it on email). scared off by low WOT ratings. Your WOT RATING FAR better than any I have seen-Congrats–ea.p2011@Yahoo

I use RegCure, You can get more Information on the product here http://mrzip.biz/n9 I was having computer problems last year with random crashing and slow performance and tried out a few crappy programs before finding this one. I’ve been running it ever since and my computer stays fast and no crashes. Hope this helps you as much as it did me bro.

There comes a point when you just simply need to ‘restore’ a computer with the ‘restore’ disks.
If your computer has become hosed during your usage of it, you don’t need to spend any money to repair it. If it’s as hosed as you’ve described in this question, get the ‘restore’ disks and initiate the ‘restore’ process.
After that, your first order of business is to get all the Windows updates.
After that, if your bundled anti-malware program is no longer eligible for updates, go buy another anti-malware package (or pony up the funds to re-activate the bundled anti-malware package. (Alternatively, you can get all the anti-malware you need for free — although not in the form of a unified interface.)
Free anti-virus: AVG Free (this is just one of many free anti-virus programs)
Free firewall: ZoneAlarm (this is just one of several free firewall programs)
Free malware inhibitors: Spybot Search & Destroy, SUPERAntiSpyware, SpywareBlaster, etc.
