I need a radio code for a honda accord 52 reg. Can anyone help?

by admin on February 12, 2011

My 52 reg honda accord came back from the repair shop and now the radio needs a code. I’ve tried searching the web but to no avail.
I don’t have any radio codes and don’t want to be locked out. The radio is Honda’s own brand and the only numbering it has is 3SA0. Help i’m desperate to listen to my tunes in the car.

With my Honda I had to pull the radio out in order to get the serial number from it. I then took this number to the dealer and within minutes they got the code from their computer at no charge. Sometimes there is a method of retrieving this serial number by pressing the preset buttons a certain way, then the radio would not have to come out. Call dealer and ask them if this is possible for you car or check the manual.

did you checked the car manual in the Radio section? in case you bought the car from another person ask him/her about the code …sometimes used vehicles write radio codes under the same radio try to remove it slowly !

Good Luck !

Go to the main Honda agent – give details of your car and they should be able to give you the radio code. They might charge a nominal fee, but it will be worth it to ‘hear your tunes’!

You can contact your local dealer but I would think they would charge you for obtaining the code. Your best, and cheapest bet is to contact the original supplying dealer when the car was new they may well have the code on file and so should not charge you anything.

When I good My !999 Honda in 2000 the radio needed to have the code reset . I went to a dealer in my aria . They set it for free & gave me a paper with the code on it so I could reset it in the future , good thing , cause I need to do it now .
I’m not sure if they did it free cause it was newer & might have been covered for that .
